A brief analysis of the working principle and function of the manifold

Manifold is a fixed object that can bring together multiple fluid channels, also known as the air source distribution area, valve plate, seat, and air path plate.

The working principle of the Manifold

In the design and use of complete sets of automation equipment, the air source is relatively single, and the solenoid valve working at the same time is more, it is necessary to disperse the single air source to a plurality of solenoid valves, and the manifold can achieve such a function.

There are at least two channels respectively through the manifold, respectively for the air inlet and the air outlet, the air inlet is supplied by the air source, after the distribution of the manifold, the air out of the air outlet through the pneumatic hose, pneumatic joint and other accessories connected to the complete set of equipment in the need of air components. In this way, a small amount of air source can supply multiple pneumatic components at the same time.

The function of the Manifold

The function of the manifold is to achieve centralized gas supply and centralized exhaust, and to save the space occupied.

There are at least two channels in the manifold, each of which has a distance between the inlet end and the outlet end. The outlet end of the channel has an outlet pipe with a changed direction. The bus plate at the outlet end of the channel is provided with connection holes and pin holes parallel to the outlet pipe.

In the design and use of complete sets of automation equipment, the air source is often relatively single, and there are more solenoid valves working at the same time, so that a single air source needs to be dispersed to multiple solenoid valves, and the manifold can achieve such a function.

The air inlet is supplied by the air source, after the distribution of the bus plate, the air out of the air outlet is connected to the components that need air in the complete set of equipment through the connection of the pneumatic hose, pneumatic joints and other accessories, so that a small amount of air source can supply multiple pneumatic components at the same time.
